Applebee's Mexico

The Applebee’s Ribs campaign required a commercial that could explain how good they really were, and nothing less than seeing them would do the job. The goal was not only to feature the ribs, but to act as a brand awareness tool to remind consumers in Mexico that Applebee’s is a great place to get together to celebrate everything. The shoot would include:

Pools Rule


The Pools Rule Campaign was created to highlight the most widely loved feature of Howard Johnson hotels based on research; the pools. Howard Johnson is known as a legacy brand, appreciated for it’s history and memories as well as it’s appeal to those road trippers of today. Shot in 2 days in Ocala, FL the cast included young and old, new and experienced talents to tell the story of pool rules… or how pools rule.

Baymont by Wyndham

Baymont by Wyndham is all about creating a Hometown Hospitality vibe, which means making everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrive. To help with this, the brand created “welcome kits” to send to each franchisee to keep at the front desk to help make any guest feel welcome. nm+u’s challenge was to figure out a way to show them off, and how they help, while making it fun to find out.

Wingate by Wyndham

A brand whose new tagline “Let’s Connect” that embraces the life and needs of the modern traveler needs a signature photo library to match. Complete with unwired headphones, flexible work environments and screen-casting abilities from bed to TV.

Shot in Nashville, TN over 3 days, and with 16 talent, it was a vigorous shoot, but tons of fun.

Video Series

Homemade @ Hawthorn

When launching the new Homemade@Hawthorn program, the idea was to highlight all of the incredible meals that could be made while on the road without buying so many ingredients that they would go bad if you were only staying a week or so. Celebrity Chef Robin was brought on for recipes and nm+u worked with her to define those as well as to script out the “shows.”

Shot in Orlando, Fl over 2 days the team filmed inside of a real Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham kitchen and later took Chef Robin’s recipes to created “Tasty” style videos for use on social media.
