Challenge
Dolce engaged NM+U to craft a comprehensive creative strategy and brand messaging platform to support its new “Inspire Discovery” brand positioning. The messaging needed to clearly communicate key selling points, such as the uniqueness of each property, robust meeting and event capabilities, and the brand’s affiliation with the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program. The additional challenge: creating a cohesive brand identity for a soft-branded portfolio while still allowing each property to maintain its individual character.
Solution
NM+U developed a creative platform that balanced brand positioning with visual flexibility. Central to the concept was the introduction of a kaleidoscope effect—an eye-catching, artistic design element that allows any photograph to become a branded visual centerpiece. This effect brought a sense of cohesion while celebrating each hotel’s distinct personality. The primary color palette included a neutral gray paired with each property’s lead accent color, helping maintain consistency without sacrificing individuality. The result is a visually engaging, scalable brand identity that unifies the Dolce portfolio while letting each location shine.
