Sleep Inn needed a brand identity refresh to reinforce its position as a new-build hard spec hotel brand while maintaining its nature-inspired, zen aesthetic. The updated identity had to work seamlessly across exterior signage, on-building applications, digital platforms, and print collateral, ensuring consistency in every touchpoint.
Challenge
The goal was to modernize Sleep Inn’s brand identity without losing the elements that made it recognizable. The refresh had to retain the brand’s signature purple and yellow color palette for continuity while introducing a cleaner, more contemporary look that resonated with modern travelers. The design also needed to function across a variety of applications, from large-scale signage to small-format digital assets, ensuring versatility and impact.
Solution
NM+U refined the Sleep Inn branding by evolving its color palette, incorporating a balance of modern design elements with organic shapes that align with the brand’s calming, nature-inspired feel. The Sleep Inn logo redesign maintained the iconic yellow moon, now complemented by a hand-drawn typeface for “Sleep”, adding warmth and character. This update ensured that the hospitality branding remained cohesive across digital platforms, signage, and print while blending seamlessly with the on-property interior design.
The result was a refreshed yet familiar hotel brand identity, built to appeal to travelers seeking a restful night’s sleep while reinforcing Sleep Inn’s position in the competitive hospitality space.
