Wyndham’s Getaway Giveaway Sweepstakes campaign promised the winner a dream 5-night getaway at one of 6 highly-desirable destinations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Germany, China or Australia. The campaign was open to participants from the U.S. and Canada, and was supported with a comprehensive media campaign across digital channels, as well as on-location at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts properties.

Key Elements:

  • Facebook-centric: the campaign’s was housed on a Facebook custom app featuring comprehensive tracking features.
  • Engaging: Participants were encouraged to invite their friends in order to receive additional entries (referral bonuses) for every 5 friends that entered the sweepstakes.
  • Multi-network: Users were driven to, and encouraged to follow the brand on Pinterest to learn more about the participating destinations, new Pinterest boards were launched to support the initiative.
  • Marketing support: supported by a comprehensive campaign blog seeding, social media advertising, content marketing as well as on-location and e-mail database marketing initiatives.
